The Splice Portfolio UI is a reference dApp wallet UI for viewing and interacting with assets on Canton. It is not intended to function as a wallet or custody layer for creating parties and storing keys. Instead, it is an open source dApp that you can clone and install, connect to a wallet, and use to understand your assets, review positions, and perform supported portfolio actions. Wallet developers can also use it to view and copy reference implementations of common wallet UI patterns. Its role is to provide a practical and capable portfolio experience on top of wallet connectivity. This gives the ecosystem more than a technical standard or an SDK: it gives teams a concrete example of what a Canton wallet UI experience can look like in practice, including support for more advanced workflows such as offers and allocations. The Portfolio UI works with wallets connected through the standard connectivity model, CIP-103, so it also supports Wallet Gateway-based setups where you may be working with multiple parties.

What You Can Do

  • View assets across multiple Canton Network parties in a single aggregated dashboard
  • Review transaction history per party
  • Send, withdraw, accept, and reject transfer offers
  • Allocate assets to allocation requests, and withdraw those allocations
  • Enable pre-approvals so incoming transfers of a chosen asset are accepted automatically
  • Add registries to make their assets visible and transferable

About This Guide

This guide uses the Wallet Gateway as the wallet to connect to for a local deployment. Any CIP-103 compliant wallet can be used to connect to Splice Portfolio. The guide notes where the Wallet Gateway is specifically being demonstrated and where other wallet experiences may differ.
